Additionally, there are established committees to deal with the duties to carry out the work of OSHRM on daily, weekly, monthly and yearly commitments.
The following are the current list of committees and their objectives:
- Keep all members up to date on events and educational opportunities.
- Assist other committees in creating documents for meetings or educational opportunities.
- Keep Social Media updated
- Facebook – The Omani Society for Human Resources Management
- Instagram – @oshrm
- Twitter – @omnshrm
- Identification and suggesting of OSHRM events such as workshops, regular meetings and forums
- Managing yearly events and activities management plan
- Arrangement of all events and activities logistic with support and coordination with OSHRM Board of Directors
- Coordination with other committees to ensure consistency and quality when sending messages to OSHRM members and the entire community
- Develop annual budget required to deliver the events and activities including venue, speakers, collaterals and communication fees if any
- Perform any other duty as directed by OSHRM Board of Directors and related to OSHRM events and activities
CONFERENCE AND AWARDS COMMITTEE
- To plan and organize the yearly conference and awards event. Including budget, vendors, etc…
- To manage all the membership list
- To make sure all the information is accurate
- To register new members
- Members registration check in for each event
- Complete the new website for OSHRM.
- Keep the OSHRM website updated, once the website is complete.
- Work with all other committees to establish the CRM database
